I don't translate the name of this container in english , well in french it is called " cul de poule " ( poule = chicken). it is for cooking . Bocuse would love it. It is to make still egg whites or caramel
I love the "cul de poule".
I have never seen one of these before. You French are so very clever!

j'adore les poules sur le premier tissu. it reminds me of making an asignment of hand painted kitchen curtains with a chicken design for one of my clients.

I've always been told that a rooster in the kitchen is good luck--if my camera were working, I'd take a photo of mine and send it to you...someday I will :)

Oh I love that first fabric. I have a weakness for hens and roosters. There is a New Zealand artist Jeff Thomson who has made a series of roosters from screen printed corrugated iron. If I ever come into lots of money it will be the first piece of art I buy.

Je m'interroge... pourquoi ce nom très imagé...???
Parce que cela sert pour les oeufs, "tout juste pondus", sans doute...
Je ne connaissais pas du tout cet ustansile de cuisine...
