For me , Braquenié is one of the last timeless fabrics company . It is very classic but so beautiful . We need its fabrics in our home . It is one of my french classics
Picture from P. Frey 's catalogue . Fabrics available in my show room*
"Braquenié was established in Paris in the 1st half of the 19th century .
The richness of its Savonnerie and short-pile carpets , its tapestry and canvases , its moquettes woven on jacquard looms and calicos, its Genoa voiles and toile de jouy with their co-ordinated damasks make braquenié unique in the history of taste and decoration.
The influence of the decorative arts and the talent of its creator have enabled Braquenié to stir the passion and curiosity of its contemporaries down the years, including Victor Hugo and the Empress Eugénie. Today , Braquenié is part of the Pierre Frey's company" in P . Frey catalogue

Melanie,
lovely fabrics. I really like the bolster pillow. I don't know why but in the U.S. I don't see them very often, while they were very prevalent in French homes (at least those I saw.) They're very elegant and comfortable. I hope someday I'll get to visit your store and enjoy the flavors of Provence!
