french decoration trends fall 2008

After my visit to salon Maison et objets in Paris , for me the fall decoration trends are :*

"Dramatic" decoration , above all black furniture in the Napoléon III style

Original black victorian piece of furniture

 

"dramatic pompadour"

Cabinet of curiosities style , it is perfect that is the name of my blog . This style means a lot of stuffed animals , globes, shells ...

You can check some brands like les objets de curiosité 

 

Industrial ambiance with metal furniture

 

eco friendly decoration with a lot of floated woods and use of things that exists in the nature . I saw some stunning and spectacular roots
