For me, both look scared - which I wouldn't want to be. But yes, art speaks to us - to all in different ways, which is the fascinating part. :) Cheers, Julie

actually, i think the mother looks strong and brave and is protecting her child who is afraid- this is a fine piece. the artist surely captured the emotions amazingly well!
