As an antiques dealer I'm used to sell special pieces , very exquisite nevertheless the things that excite me the most is feminine linen , ribbons , small scissors to sew ...little litlle details that you find in a special box ...
What do your prefer in your job ?
look what I found this morning
love the way it is wrapped , this is touching
what a perfect box for me ...the tapisserie's girl ( tapisserie = upholstery )
there were also babies outfit with lace , there were so delicate ..may be in another post
Oh so beautiful! I can feel your excitement, I feel it too. :-)
Are these "tapisserie" sample books? They are exquisitely boxed up! Would sell them?
I love old printers' shops. Unfortunately they are becoming more and more obsolete. My favorite one is hidden away in a little frequented calle in Venice. The printmaker works with antique encraving techniques, many of his works go to well-known people (a set of a hundred business cards runs about a 100 Euros). Truly precious.

That e.b. lace you found is so pretty! Do you incorporate the lace and ribbons into your furniture designs?
