Gorgeous.
When I was a little girl I used to wear button shoes and in London, where I lived, there was a man with a barrow who would sew your button on if it came off.
Those where the days :)
One of my little girls had shoes that look the same, only in white, with a few tiny pink blossoms on top. They were from a French manufacturer, I have kept them, my treasure. ;-)
Okay, for about 30 seconds I loved the sweet little shoes. But then I started to feel creepy about them, reminded of the piles of discarded shoes at the concentration camps, left as reproaches to all who stood by and did nothing. They are so vulnerable and lonely, these little shoes so separated from the little girl they belonged to. So abandoned. Maybe I'm just grumpy because I'm not in France anymore... :-)

I guess that also could be said for a lot of things one finds at flea markets Dana...
Every item has it's story and sometimes they won't all be so cheery.
The fact that these shoes are in such good hands now, means we can be cheery about them
