modern christmas list and giveaway

beaucoup d'entre vous doivent penser que je suis entourée de vieilles choses , que ma maison est un vieux cabanon remplis d'objets charmants mais anciens , voir cassés ...et que j'aime tout ce qui est vieux ...il est vrai que j'aime les vieilles choses ( même mon "vieux " chéri ) Mais quand je dois faire ma liste de Nöel j'avoue que j'en viens à avoir envie de moderne et de design

Pour le jeu cadeau , je suis désolée mais il n'est ouvert qu'aux résidents américains et canadiens ..je sais parfois la vie c'est trop injuste( dixit priscilla à calimero )

A lot of you may think that I live surrounded by old things , that my house is an old beach house full of charming things but old and broken things ...and that I love everything vintage or old ...And that IS TRUE that I love OLD THINGS ( even my chéri is " old " ). But when I have to think about a christmas list, I have to confess that I want to write on it some modern and design objects which I love to mix with my antiques.
First of all I'm dying for the Mademoiselle chair from Kartell

then I had a crash on few chandeliers

I love it and I also love this one :

I would love it in my entrance

In my office I will choose an eames bibliotheque

I love this bright colors , it will perfectly fit with my P. Frey curtains

I love that chair with this round shape ...

 
the new version of the sunburn mirror

I guess that for all these wonderful and big pieces I may have to wait a little bit for a richer santa claus but for now I should at least choose a design piece from Alessi , they are very affordable and it is a nice present

For fruits , I love this cup :

it looks like a sculpture

for the same reason I love this vase

for these wonderful pieces from big designers , Santa doesn't have to be very rich

and if you are lucky for one of the 2 last pieces , you can even won one of them so PLAY

You know, I like your modern style as much as your antique. That's rare for me.

I can see why you have Missoni on the brain; those Kartell chairs are smashing.

My "Missoni" dress is surprisingly comfortable, able to be worn dressed up or down. Versatility is another element of design I look for.

I just love your blog, Mélanie You always have fun surprises and I too, love to mix the very modern with antiques. Love the Kartel chairs and especially in the Missoni prints! I'm coveting the Vetreria Demajo Prosecco chandelier - it is breathtaking! I have always wanted the full size Eames storage unit - but your "bibliotheque" name adds so much more class to it now! What a fun giveaway - I would have to choose the vase as I always have fresh flowers at home and I collect vases. C'est Magnifique!

I love the blend of old and new...antique and contemporary! That glass chandelier is to die for! I'd pick the vase if I win. It's the perfect excuse to buy fresh flowers often! Merry Christmas!

Of course we love our antiques, and of course we need to mix in the freshness of modern or it is too stale too quickly! I really like all the things you posted, especially the colorful chandelier and the Kartel Mlle chairs...)
