I'm back to my shop after having gone hunting for antiques with some clients from Saint Louis

Here is what you can find in Brocante , marché aux puces , antiquaires ( flea markets , antiques shop and brocante)

This is a just a little idea because you can find much more than that

I pushed the door and here is what I've found

a red old counter from a " boulangerie , it has marble on the top of it ! it is great ( sorry for the picture) It is already set up in my space in the Poterie Ravel

Tomorrow , I will be again on the routes of Provence to " chiner " with 2 clients we will go to Aix en Provence , Marseilles , Lubéron ...

This time , we will look for victorian antiques ...Hope I will be back with others things to share...

Chiner en Provence

Today , I'm going to drive around my little Provence , to find mew treasures.

As May 1st was a day off in France , I'm taking a long week end ( un pont as we say = a bridge)

So I'm going to take my car , to take my time and to spend my time doing what I love " chiner " ( finding antiques )

By chance , one of my friend has rented a " gite " ( an house) so I will spend my night somewhere in my route of Provence where I will rest

As I don't really work I will have time to look of the world around me

By my car's windows I will enjoy the flowered fields

I hope I will find more provencal potteries for my show room collection ..I love this green ...

May be some big pieces as drawers , armoires , commodes , tables ...

During this afternoon I may stop on my way to look if a " little girl" can have a nap there

So I will be back I hope with some photos to share and may be some trasures from my route de chine in Provence

I am exhausted for several reasons !

I need a break , a nap , a peaceful place where I can lay down

old fashioned mattress made by my dad in an old iron bed  ...in my show room , in my bedroom ' vieille France " as I like to call it

P.S : Lucky me, this week in France , on May 1st we are celebrating labor day so I may take some days off to have a long week end
