I've been tagged by my chère Nihal from Istanbul , Turkey
Benji Lanyado, the columnist of The Guardian's Travel Blog aims to share the insider knowledge to your city across the blogs: to tell about a hidden place in a city, maybe a café, or a park, a gallery, or a bar, preferably in your city.
What is essential is to make things visible to our eyes talking unspoken beauties and recognizing the silent things from our world on our pages
my city is Aubagne
When I thought about my city secret , it had something to do with handwork, art and history . Most of the places I love are like that!
It could have been my dad 's workshop , but it was too much easy and a little bit pretentious!
So follow me
go up the stairs
do you have an idea ...of what kind of place it is
do you read the sign ?
this is a place full of history , full of handwork and handworkers
this is a place full of art
part of the factory
this is a place in France where pots are still handmade
this is a place full of antiques
Here is the address :
Poterie Ravel
Avenue des goums
13400 Aubagne
you can visit their workshop every thursday at 10.30
to carry on the chain I tagged Karina from Buenos Aires to share with us her city secret ...She has already shared a lot with us.
I promise next city secret is a big one ....my dad's workshop
I love the tag!!!!
Starting to work about it!!!!
Thanks for tagging me!!!

Oh chere Mélanie, you are absolute a darling! So proud of you and you are one of my most favourite blogging friends:) That is why I have decided on you. Your secret about Aubagne made me a curious cat, and story starting at stairs following you then seeing those gorgeous handworks dancing in talented hands and ending up at antiques showroom, excellent sharing it is:)
MERCI BEAUCOUP Mélanie for sharing your meaningful secret with us, loved loved really.
Now. The ball is in Buenos Aires? Great shot:) I will be flying up to Karina's to read her secret out.
You deserve a buon fine weekend, hugs & bisos.

Oh, that IS a special place, especially as it seems that most items nowadays are mass produced in factories elsewhere. It's nice to see that tradition is still alive.
