Salon Maison et objets, braderie of Lille but what else ??

In France , this week end is pretty busy if you are an interior decorator you may be in Paris in The salon Maison et Objets .
If you are an antiques dealer you may be in Lille ( north of France) to " chiner " in the famous Braderie of Lille.
I think I'm almost both of that , I try to be an antiques dealer and to be an interior decorator but I choosed to stay in Provence, to enjoy the last days of summer , to go to the flowers market , to think about my own trends ...

Let me introduce you to a provencal factory which I love to work : Les olivades

As always it is an old family factory. Les olivades is the only left factory to keep on in Provence the tradition of prints on toiles, tradition which have begun in Marseilles in 1648 .

You can visit their factory in Saint Etienne du Grès , it is fantastic . I can even be your guide.

The provencal prints on toile have a long historical story . Nowadays these provencal prints were fist coming from India

Les olivades have made the choice to keep on producing their fabrics in France ,and they are very competitive . Indeed , their fabrics are very high quality , nevertheless they are very affordable..

Greeen and purple ...

Purple is one of my favorite colors , to dress and to decorate ..

Green is not at all my favorite one , but it mixes perfectly with purple ...so

Old plates

I have a passion for old china plates.

My cupboards, every part of my part is full of them so even when I buy some I like I can not bring them at home .
Or may be the solution is to quick out my boyfriend's clothes from the shelves and to put them instaed ( I guess it is not the right solution)

So I'd rather sell them to someone who will love them as mush as I do

Kenzo again

 

new sofa at Roche Bobois with kenzo fabrics , I don't like the choice of the colors , but what I like is that you can modulate every part ; its name is anagramme.

It looks like a moroccan sofa . I would make the same with kenzo fabrics but choose my favorite colors ...
