a gilded neoclassic style chaise longue , I can imagine Madeleine Castaing laying down on it . If I keep it for my show room , I 'll change the fabric and I will think about what she would have choosen and may be will pick up one from her collection

Declercq's passementeries is another one .

Their new trimmings are gorgeous just like the "old ones " .
I wanted to share them with you.

Not only that these little beauties are tassels but they are jewells , I almost can wear them.

First, I'm sure when you have read " I have my coco" , You have thought about the great COCO ( http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/321/280321-coco-chanel-picture.htm )

You have thought I had a new Chanel perfume or a new Chanel's bag ...YOU ARE WRONG

You may know my passion for cabinet de curiosités (this is the name of my blog )

So my " coco" is something I have always dreamed about ....

I have always dreamed about a Napoléon III ( victorian) parrot from a cabinet de curiosités ..And I have it

In french , we usually call a domestic parrot : Coco ( don't know the name in english), like we call minou for a kitty

 

actually a friend found him another name I call him : balthazar , Coco is too common  .

balthazar comes from a very aestetic house . Tomorrow don't forget to read more about my new treasures

I'm a big fan of portrait , most of my clients are not.
They say to me : I don't want the portrait of someboby who I don't know and who is not from my family.
I love galery of portrait , it gave a soul and a story to an old house.
This morning, I came back with " Madame" , I like her , I don't care if she is not from my family
