Comme j'aimerais être sur le port de Cassis , au Soleil en train de manger quelques oursins avec des amis ..Juste partager un moment de bonheur .

Ce week end j'en partage un d'un autre genre . Je suis entourée de mes objets chéris avec mes amis antiquaires dans le village qui m'a vu grandir ..

I would like so much to be in Cassis n in front of the sun eating  sea urchins with friends ..and just sharing a special moment.

This Week end I share something diferent . I 'm surrounded by  my loved antiques with my antiques dealer) friends in the village where I grew up

Once again, let's talk about something and someone I love.

He knows how to make a real empire upholstery . It has a certain number of what we call " points "

By the way , as always My dad wants to share his knowledge and savoir faire by giving lessons ..We are going to figure out how is going to work out .

Sunday night took place in a wonderful art deco palace in the French Riviera , in Nice

The lobby in this wonderful Hotel . That's the hotel I prefered  !!! It was really worth it

Well it was a week full of wonderful friendship , in my mail box this morning I had a fabulous expression of Kindness : a southern accent issue

In one of my comment  in Cote de Texas Blog , I wrote that I missed the southern accents magazine and Guess what ?

Joni offered me a kind of birthday 's present , a subscription to this magazine .

SINCE SATURDAY AT TWELVE I AM WITH MY MEXICAN FRIENDS , FAMILY....

They mean a lot to me and I am so glad to see them again here in Provence

They teach so many things , I have never met poeple like them they are so kind , so generous , so tough .

They never complain

they came with friends

With them and I am going to make a little tour of Provence .

So I will be away from my blog until thursday morning

On sunday I will be in Nice , french Riviera

in monday in Cannes , french riviera again.

I am going to go to Vallauris and Grasse , the city of the perfumes

In tuesday , in Avignon

and in wednessday , Back to a charming hotel in Gèmenos

Retrouvailles

My sister Clarisse is back From Paris , from her upholstery lessons in the compagnons du devoir's school

In 2 weeks she learned a lot of things that she is going to share with us.

She learned to leave far away from her family

She learned interior design

she learned  english

she learned not to be pretentious

She is learning how to do the things right

But I know she is so brilliant and she is going to give us so much modern spirit

I hope she will use this kind of funny fabrics

Story of Avignon

Despite of your Best Wishes of success .

The success and the " richness" were not at the rendez vous in Avignon .

There were a lot of professionals for all over the world .

I've met some americans , some russians , a lot of Italians as always , also lituanians , Turkish ....

But there were all looking for the " mouton à cinq pattes " as we say in France that it to say something that doesn't exist . have you ever seen a sheep with 5 legs ??

I guess NO

Well , I managed to sell some furniture , and beautiful paintings ...

I took some pictures but I didn't like very much the ambiance of THAT september's fair

Anyway , even if this time I didn't appreciate this fair a lot I invite you to come to this affair , it is such a pradise for antiques dealers, you can find castle's furniture , carroussel , fabulous garden antiques !! If one day you want to come , ask me and I would be happy to help you !

The best thing of this day is that I've met Fifi's sister , I was packing around 1. PM when I saw her ,We talked a little bit but I didn't think about taking a picture to show you that the blog's world is so wonderful. She doesn't have a blog but she has a Bed and Breakfast

Around 2  PM my dad's van was ready to come back home with all our treasures

Avignon

In the afternoon , I will set up my stand in the professional antiques fair in Avignon . This show takes place in the park des expositions

I will write a post about it on monday or tuesday.

It is one of the biggest professional antiques fair in the south of France , with Montpellier and Beziers !!

May be I will meet some of you there !! I already know I may meet Fifi's sister. She owns a B& B in Avignon

I am in the hurry ... it is always so much stress during this kind of week end . You have to choose some antiques from your shop , you have to pack it and the most difficult is to set up in the right or the best way !!
