Trimmings addiction

By reading yesterday a post of Jackie . I've thought about sharing one of my addiction with you.

The doctor told me there are not any medicine for this one ...never mind

Story of Avignon

Despite of your Best Wishes of success .

The success and the " richness" were not at the rendez vous in Avignon .

There were a lot of professionals for all over the world .

I've met some americans , some russians , a lot of Italians as always , also lituanians , Turkish ....

But there were all looking for the " mouton à cinq pattes " as we say in France that it to say something that doesn't exist . have you ever seen a sheep with 5 legs ??

I guess NO

Well , I managed to sell some furniture , and beautiful paintings ...

I took some pictures but I didn't like very much the ambiance of THAT september's fair

Anyway , even if this time I didn't appreciate this fair a lot I invite you to come to this affair , it is such a pradise for antiques dealers, you can find castle's furniture , carroussel , fabulous garden antiques !! If one day you want to come , ask me and I would be happy to help you !

The best thing of this day is that I've met Fifi's sister , I was packing around 1. PM when I saw her ,We talked a little bit but I didn't think about taking a picture to show you that the blog's world is so wonderful. She doesn't have a blog but she has a Bed and Breakfast

Around 2  PM my dad's van was ready to come back home with all our treasures

Avignon

In the afternoon , I will set up my stand in the professional antiques fair in Avignon . This show takes place in the park des expositions

I will write a post about it on monday or tuesday.

It is one of the biggest professional antiques fair in the south of France , with Montpellier and Beziers !!

May be I will meet some of you there !! I already know I may meet Fifi's sister. She owns a B& B in Avignon

My stand is H41

I am in the hurry ... it is always so much stress during this kind of week end . You have to choose some antiques from your shop , you have to pack it and the most difficult is to set up in the right or the best way !!

De la passion. Encore...toujours ça ? que dire ? Quoi répondre à ses propres questions ? N’est-ce pas un soleil que cette forme là ?

On s’affaisse un peu sur son siège, on étend les jambes, les yeux rencontrent l’horizon, et puis une grande inspiration.

N’est-ce pas un soleil que cette idée-là ? L’horizon encore, une grande aspiration et…

Alors ?

Alors dites-vous ? Je ne sais pas. Je ne sais toujours pas.

• Racontez-moi, vous pouvez tout dire, vous savez. Je comprends. Je sais.
• Non, je ne peux rien dire, on ne sait pas le dire. Ca se vit pour le meilleur, Ca s’envie pour le pire. Les mots…la grande affaire que tous ces mots. Les mots ne peuvent rien. Il faut regarder au fond des yeux pour chercher la vérité.
• Mais laissez-moi regarder alors.
• Vous y voyez ?
• J’y viens, j’y viens, ça se dessine…vous tremblez toujours comme ça ?
• Moi..je tremble…ah bon vous trouvez ?
• Non je cherche. Je dois pourtant être au plus profond. C’est étrange. On dirait une convulsion immobile que vous avez là. Il faut consulter.
• Ah ! Bien. Alors docteur, voyez-vous, j’ai des convulsions immobiles.
• Comme c’est intéressant. Faites voir…Je vais prendre votre attention…ouh la…c’est pas joli, vous avez des pics et des chutes. Parlez-moi.
• Non.
• C’est un début. Fermez les yeux. Ca vous fait mal ?
• A peu près toutes les secondes, dans la poitrine.

• C’est vrai ?
• Non ! Je disais ça pour rire. Vous avez un pou extrêmement rapide…il faut le rattraper.
• Non. Laissez-le. De temps en temps je le cherche, ça m’occupe.
• Tiens, il s’est arrêté.
• Ca lui arrive souvent. Il est fatigué, il cherche un coin et il creuse pour se reposer.
• Pourquoi vous souriez ?
• Je ne sais pas. Et vous.
• J’imagine.
• Vous avez bien de la chance.
• Vous avez quoi là ? Des égratignures…elles n’étaient pas là tout à l’heure.
• Oh ! Il ne faut pas leur en vouloir. Ca leur arrive de s’ouvrir…elles prennent l’air. Vous savez, c’est pas très évident pour elles.
• Posez les pieds au sol.
• Oh ! Il y a bien longtemps que je n’ai pas fait ce genre de chose. Je ne sais plus. Je ne sais même plus si j’ai su.
• C’est étrange…je préfèrerais un infarctus ou une fracture. Vous auriez mieux fait de réfléchir à deux fois.
• La foi n’a rien à voir là-dedans.
• C’est vous qui le dites, c’est vous qui savez, c’est vous qui patientez. Mais je crois que si on ouvrait, on pourrait raisonnablement en trouver une.

• Attendez, j’ausculte. Raison…
• Aie aie aie. Mais vous êtes fou. Ça fait très mal.
• Non c’est vous qui êtes fou. Raison...
• Aie.
• Ça m’amuse. Bon…tout me fait panser… C’est une passiflorite.
• Vous voulez dire, penser.
• Non. Je veux exactement dire panser. Je sais parfaitement ce que je dis.
• Une passiflorite ? C’est grave ?
• La passiflorite est toujours aigüe, où que vous soyez…si vous y êtes.

La passiflorite prend naissance au fond des boyaux, elle ne se guérit jamais, elle s’évanouit rarement. Il faut de toute façon attendre que la fleur se transforme en fruit, et quand le fruit est mûr, mangez-le en prenant soin de ne pas en faire couler sur vous et surtout…avalez toutes les graines. Vous aurez peut-être une petite chance de vous en sortir…si vous le voulez, si vous le pouvez, si vous pouvez le vouloir et si vous voulez le pouvoir.

Maintenant allez-vous-en, vite. Ce n’est pas contagieux mais ça me rend jaloux. Vous avez de la chance…

Alberto Pinto is one of my favorite designer . Don't ask me WHY because I don't know , his ambiance just let me feel confortable .

Last year I was so so so Happy that he joins Patrick Frey to create some design for Frey's fabrics.

I was in heaven both Patrick Frey and Alberto Pinto ...It is just the best

Last year it was a 50's kind of fabric , it was gorgeous .

But this year , it is just unvelievable , it is a Pinto's entire collection of indoor and OUTDOOR fabrics . That means you can have an Alberto Pinto's spirit around in your garden ...or around your swimming pool , Maryam imagine when your swimming pool will be just the color you want , the last touch will be thinking of little things like " Pinto's fabrics"

For my dear friend Christiane , I'm sorry I couldn't write this note before . Indeed She reads everyday my blog and she complains when I don' write it on time

Iron

As I can not do anything in my show room . I can not clean  , I can not set the new Fall's decoration .

So I decided to go to the Poterie Ravel , to set up my new antiques' buyings .

This week end my dad bought some fabulous XIX th century iron armchairs . I love them .

My decoration in the Poterie Ravel is a kind of garden chic decoration and I love Iron in the interior decoration so that is great for me
