My Melange , I don't remember how I found Robin's blog . But I like it because it was an american woman who shares her love of Europe . I left a comment and we both realized that World was very small , indeed  she is living few miles away of the place where I was an aupair  in the States : it is Rhinebeck . We hope to meet soon

Palazzo Pizzo , a blog which let us discover south of Italy , Suzie is renovating and decorating her italian home . From her italian blog , you can go to her chinese blog . She is a traveler .

Rekindled spirit , It is the fabulous blog of Elsa , a citizen of the World , as she says she carries erytrean blood , she is an american by right and German by association ( with her husband)

I'm going to cheat a litlle bit because I haven't recommend my loved blogs and friends and I'm sure I will forget some but they will forgive me ( pleasssssse) and I have to mention it here . First my american provencal friend Corey ,my friendly Constance and her merveilleuses creations , La fabuleuse Fifi , The moroccan Maryam , The Queen Donna , Lea , Merisi from Vienna and the last but not least Farfallina from Roma , each comment on her blog gives $0,05  to doctors without borders , we have to go and say Ciao

More Iron

Well I keep on my iron addiction

I love this garden " gueridon" in iron of course . Look at its base in flower's shape ...so lovely

For my dear friend Christiane , I'm sorry I couldn't write this note before . Indeed She reads everyday my blog and she complains when I don' write it on time

Iron

As I can not do anything in my show room . I can not clean  , I can not set the new Fall's decoration .

So I decided to go to the Poterie Ravel , to set up my new antiques' buyings .

This week end my dad bought some fabulous XIX th century iron armchairs . I love them .

My decoration in the Poterie Ravel is a kind of garden chic decoration and I love Iron in the interior decoration so that is great for me

He also bought something very charming :an iron boat from an old carroussel

I will also use it as a flowerspot , isn't it lovely ??

In the Poterie Ravel , I have more iron antiques like this beautiful iron console . I can imagine it in a typical provencal bastide in the hall

Beautiful original wood

                                       Today started bad

we are again and again remodeling our show room : painting , putting new fabrics on the wall .....A lot of MESS  and I hate that

But I went to see something fabulous , I'm going to buy from  a provencal house ca 1810  the entire wood of a room .

It is just gorgeous and I can't wait to sell it to someone who is going to make a XXI th century room with this original XIX th century wood

I show you some pictures even if the pictures are not that good and are a way far from the reality

One little part of this room of around 30 m2 with wood floor also. The height is 3,30 m. I like this Marie Antoinette's grey but may be just wood color will be great also

If I would have to use it , I would let it in neutral wood color and I will hangle some beautiful paintings in the center of the mouldings in each panel . Or I will hangle in the same way some hunting trophies

Bye Bye vacations

Well , I haven't written Bye Bye Summer , because here in Provence it has never been that Hot than in this end of Summer .

Nevertheless everybody is going back to work . I haven't taken any vacation so for me it is just going on .

But my family took some days off and today it is the big coming back

The day everybody hates

So the workshop opens these doors again  , until Christmas it will be full of suprises , Work , Joy and sharing

Let's go again in the world of Antiques , Upholstery and decoration

My dad will learn again to Allan , his brazilian apprentice . My dad loves to share his savoir faire and culture

Il y a ce que l’on peut voir quand il n’y a plus rien à voir.

Quelques secondes d’éternité…une idée de l’ailleurs.

Tout se fige avant le tragique vacarme vertigineux. Perception de fin de monde... Et pourtant, tout est encore si présent…

Il y a ce que l’on peut avoir quand il n’y a plus rien à croire.

Que reste-t-il de cette éternité ?

Encore des souvenirs, encore des réalités sourdes qui permettent de retarder un peu, dans la noirceur, la suite.

Et puis, au bout tu temps, un éclat, un dernier éclat de vie avant que tout ne s’arrête enfin.

Le dimanche est un jour de partage pour moi car c'est souvent le seul jour où je peux partager mon repas avec ceux que j'aime .

Le partage est un le maître mot de ma vie .

J'aime partager les choses qui me plaisent , qui me tiennent à coeur , qui me touchent ..

J'ai choisi d'écrire en majeure partie ce blog pour partager , j''ai choisi de l'écrire en majeure partie en anglais pour partager avec mes amis anglo saxons.

J'ai choisi aujourd"hui de partager avec mes concitoyens français les maux ( non mots) d'un être touchant , généreux , irrationel ....Un être merveilleux .

Je vous en prie partagez ces (ses) mots  avec moi et laissez des commentaires ...

Toile de Jouy

This morning by reading the post of Blogger All the Best . I wanted also to write about this famous toile .

I look around me , this time again I found a collection of Toile de Jouy . I found a selection of fabric , of lamp , of apron , coverbed ....

I haven't had time to take pictures of all of them but here is a part of the selection.
